Blimey! I never thought KU would be such a high percentage and totally understand why you wouldn’t want to lose that! My KU reads never made much impact on my figures but I think BookBub deals give a massive boost to KU reads too, especially in the US, so that’s a huge bonus.

Between two thirds and three quarters of my book income comes from Kindle Unlimited, though, so there is no way I am ever changing! And most KU in the US, which is a huge market. I think that’s what it’s down to, really, when people decide whether or not to go ‘wide’ – how well their books do on KU. Because if they do well, you’re never going to want to lose that. I like to see all points of view on this, though – tis good to be informed ๐Ÿ™‚
