Podcast Post #7 ~ Kobo Writing Life Podcast @KoboWritingLife @MunroeChristine #amwriting #selfpublishing

As anyone who follows my blog will know, I started listening to writing podcasts a while ago looking for something to give me a lift and some inspiration as well as adding to my education as an independent author. This podcast has done all of those things.

You may also know that I’m in the process of taking all of my books out of KDP Select and making them wide across all the retailing platforms and obviously Kobo is right at the top of that list. I’ve already done this with The Joker and Parallel Lies and my other three books will be moved in the next week or so.

This podcast is hosted by Christine Munroe and Stephanie McGrath, most of the time, but the episodes are varied so that sometimes they are interviewing authors and at other times a variety of other interesting people in the industry. A few episodes ago now there was a particularly fascinating episode for authors called ‘Sell More Books with Bookbub’ when they spoke to Bookbub’s very own Carlyn Robertson.

There are only a couple of episodes a month so you are unlikely to get overwhelmed, or bored with the variety, and quality, of guests on offer. Three episodes ago Sean Platt and Johnny B Truant, Sterling and Stone themselves, were interviewed and you may remember I covered their podcast only a couple of weeks ago right here.

Highly recommended for your listening pleasure you can find out much more about this podcast, including all of the episode details, on the Kobo Writing Life website, link below.

About Georgia Rose

Georgia Rose is a writer and the author of the romantic and suspenseful Grayson Trilogy books: A Single Step, Before the Dawn and Thicker than Water. A short story, The Joker, based on a favourite character from the series followed and is free to download from Amazon. Her fourth novel, Parallel Lies, a standalone, encompasses crime along with Georgia’s usual blending of genre. Following a long stint working in the law Georgia set up her own business providing administration services for other companies which she does to this day managing to entwine that work along with her writing. Georgia’s background in countryside living, riding, instructing and working with horses has provided the knowledge needed for some of her storylines; the others are a product of her passion for people watching and her overactive imagination! Her busy life is set in a tranquil part of rural Cambridgeshire in the UK where she lives with her much neglected husband and dog. Their son, currently at university, comes and goes and their daughter, having delighted them all for long enough, has eventually moved out, got married, and is discovering the joys of being all grown up and having a mortgage.
