Accountability Post #18 ~ To Reach that Goal ~ #amwriting #selfpublishing

Following on from last week it turns out I don’t seem to be able to put together a successful Facebook Ad so I pulled that, after dire results, and will have to do a bit more research before attempting again. (Anyone know of an idiots guide to doing these?)

I have however been on two highly informative webinars this week so I do feel I’m adding to my background knowledge if not to my word count which has remained stubbornly static for another week. However, I did have the tiniest tickle of enthusiasm earlier today to get those creative fingers on the keyboard again (even if it was for something new!) so there may be better news next week.

I have spent quite a bit of time putting together what I’m calling my Mega-Giveaway which will start next Saturday. I’ve still got to finish putting the page together but I’m really looking forward to revealing the prizes to you – there’s a teaser photo below. The giveaway, timed for September, is to celebrate the anniversary of the release of Parallel Lies (and, as it happens, Before the Dawn and Thicker than Water as well!)

IMG_0666I do hope you’ll take part, there are many different options for you to do so. 😀

Anyway I shall keep this short and sweet as I need to head off to do some reading. I have three books on the go and yet nothing ready to review on Tuesday so I’d best get my skates on.

Have a fabulous week everyone! xx

Project B – Hill of Beans –  previously 5532 words – still 5532 words.

Project C – Parallel Lies sequel – previously 25,500 words – now 25,500 words.

About Georgia Rose

Georgia Rose is a writer and the author of the romantic and suspenseful Grayson Trilogy books: A Single Step, Before the Dawn and Thicker than Water. A short story, The Joker, based on a favourite character from the series followed and is free to download from Amazon. Her fourth novel, Parallel Lies, a standalone, encompasses crime along with Georgia’s usual blending of genre. Following a long stint working in the law Georgia set up her own business providing administration services for other companies which she does to this day managing to entwine that work along with her writing. Georgia’s background in countryside living, riding, instructing and working with horses has provided the knowledge needed for some of her storylines; the others are a product of her passion for people watching and her overactive imagination! Her busy life is set in a tranquil part of rural Cambridgeshire in the UK where she lives with her much neglected husband and dog. Their son, currently at university, comes and goes and their daughter, having delighted them all for long enough, has eventually moved out, got married, and is discovering the joys of being all grown up and having a mortgage.
