When I started this writing caper I decided to review everything I read. I posted those reviews to Amazon in the UK and US (you could in those days without having to spend $50 with them first! #JustSaying!) and Goodreads. It didn’t cross my mind to post them on my blog… duh! As I’m aiming to stick to a blogging schedule – oh, how we laughed! – and as I read desperately slowly I shall add in these retro-fitted book reviews when I don’t have a current one to post.
I’ve just spent the day being treated at a health spa and took this book along to read in those leisurely lying down moments between sessions of extreme pampering. It was the perfect choice. I love short stories and there are really not that many books of them about. I like Tyler’s style of writing very much, and with surprise endings and twists, some humorous and some heartbreaking each story is a delight. I read it in a day and this book would be great for all those times when your reading time is broken up, such as when travelling, waiting for appointments, being pampered or really for any other time at all!
Thanks, Georgia. I loved Terry’s Patient Zero collection of short stories and didn’t know about this one. Will pick it up!
That’s great, Sarah. I think I saw the other day that she is doing freebie sales on four of her books this week so I’d recommend you get all of those while you are at it 😀
Ooh! Will do. Thanks! 🙂
