I chose to read this book as a member of Rosie’s Book Review Team. I received a copy from the author but this does not alter my review in anyway.

In the Foreword the author states that she has written this book because she was struggling to commit enough time to keeping track of the storyline in a novel. Many people have less time to read nowadays so she has written this collection of stories so they can be read in one sitting. Some will take less than a minute.

I enjoy all forms of short story so I was delighted to read these. There is a mix of story lengths covering different genres. Some are very clever; others have a super twist. Some are just entertaining. I’ll admit, some I didn’t get, but that’s alright.

As always when you have this many stories there will be some you like more than others but on the whole, this was an entertaining read that I recommend, if you like short stories. And even if you don’t give them a try, you might surprise yourself.
