I chose to read this book as a member of Rosie Amber’s Book Review Team. I received a copy from the author, but that doesn’t alter my review in any way.
This is the first book I have read by this author, and it can be read without having read any of the others.
I enjoyed the author’s conversational tone throughout and admired their day-to-day tales of their adventurous life on the road.
I think for this type of travel you need a positive mindset, and that came across with the descriptions of the countries they passed through, the people they met, and the attitudes and rules they lived by as they travelled.
The historical details of the places they stayed in/near were interesting and added another level of depth to this travelogue.
I really, really wanted to see some photos of the Pawsome Foursome and of the Beast, particularly its interior, but at the end came across links to all the other books and a blog where no doubt I can go and browse some.
Continual travel like this will seem idyllic to some, but it is not without its issues – particularly in a 16 ton truck – and there were plenty of anxiety inducing moments.
All in all this is an interesting, educational, and thought-provoking read that comes highly recommended.

Thank you Georgia.
You’re welcome, Rosie.
