For All Eternity is billed as a book of short stories and I found each one of them flowed naturally into the next with Catshill using the short story format to skip over time gaps skilfully until complete they formed one whole tale.
I like reading short stories to introduce me to the work of an author before I take on one of their novels. There are ten stories in Crime, Conflict & Consequences and as the title suggests this collection covering a range of situations arising from crime or conflict and the consequences of people’s actions.

I finished Rock’n’Roll Suicide in the early hours of this morning clearly having no respect for everything I have to do today. West’s well written descriptions of his settings, situations and characters are beautiful and realistic. Jack Lockwood is very likeable and I quickly found myself caring about what happened to him – and a lot did.
